if its coming from the tranny side, take off the intake piping, intercooler hose. This makes getting in there really easy.
Oh, and as per our conversation, if the engine bay is clean and dry, its alot easier to see leaks

Oh, just had a thought. I had a leak from my rad, and it was running down the core from a leak on the upper tank. Then the fan would turn on and fire the coolant all over the tranny and that end of the engine. Have a look at that.
Coolant leaks are usually easy to spot.
