Coolant Issues

When i started my car in the parking lot after the meet last night, I let my car idle for 10 minutes or so before leaving. When i got in i noticed it wasnt warm inside, and that there was just cool air coming out of the vents. I didnt think much of it, and proceeded home. At idle, the air would be cold. But when i actually drove, it would become hot. Im not low on coolant, the parthanon never came on and i cant see any leaks. What could be wrong?

Check your thermostat. Just a guess tho...

Might have air in your system. pop the rad cap and start the car with the heat on full blast in the car. then slowly try to top up the rap cap filler un till it takes no more.

sounds like a t-stat to me too.  Get it before it sticks the other way, and you cook your engine.

Can't hurt to make sure you have no air in the system too, but these things are pretty good for "self burping"

my thermostat is 3 weeks old. i changed it when the old one did get stuck the other way. ill check it when i get it all back together after im done painting.

Remove the stat all together and burp the system, see if it makes any difference. If it doesn't see my post in Robins thread
