-Mike's HKS regrinds...and if I do should I go 272, 264 or the combo?
-Crower
-Comp

I'm not experienced with cams or cam gears, and my future plan is to run an evo 16g with all supporting mods.

I highly recommend Mikes 264's. You should also have no problem with aircare with these.

there was a good article on dsmtuners.com
testing various cams with a 16g talon
the 264/264 combo kicked ass for this size turbo
think 15hp or something
the 264/272 combo gave something like 16hp, but robbed
allot of the tq something like 10 pounds less

to grind them is included in the $600 too? and would a set of 264's be the best for a 2g aswell.

cams all depend on the mods you have

best cams for a 2g might be 1g cams, depends on your mods
264's breath well, maybe too well for a 2g head?

My car has much much bigger cams, but that's because the hardware can support it.

There no such thing as to big of a cam on to small of a head, just ask the 272's in my 2g head :P

If having no idle is a good thing then my car must be fantastic!

If you want to keep your car streetable as an aircared daily driver and still have tons of power both bottom and top end, get 264's.

If you want to full out drag race your car with more top end power and less bottom end power, fail aircare, and have no idle, then get 272s.
