I notice when i have been driving on the highway for awhile in 4th or 5th gear it's extremely hard to change gears after that. once i get back into the city and do some city driving it seems to be fine. not sure if its my tranny or clutch or what ever.

Sometimes if your tranny fluid gets too hot (or is too cold), it'll stop your syncros from working properly. Changing your brand of tranny fluid to one of the recomended mixtures usually helps.

and make sure its full.

Also make sure your clutch is adjusted correctly.

Make sure your master and slave are in good shape and blead properly

also make sure your shifter is adjusted correctly.

as well make sure that you check for play in 5th, there is a VFAQ about a condition that can exist if you have too much play in 5th.  It is a bit of a pain, but not horrible to do.

also have a look, if your mat is being pushed up under the clutch pedal while on the hiway, it will impede the full throw of the clutch pedal.  Probably not this one, but check, you never know.

All of these things except for the mat were in need of doing when I bought my car and doing all of them helped alot.  And the mat happened when driving a Camaro I was looking at buying before I snagged the Talon.
