one more quick reason nobody mentioned about mig welding with argon or co2... it ends up being cheaper than with flux core wire, cause that wire is more expensive that just straight up wire..

      Argon for aluminum and co2 for steel. Some companys mix it, for my tig at work i use a argon/helium mixture.
