Look for a GS-T/X.  It'll be cheaper in the long run.

Supercharge, or (brace for it) NAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.   But the bottle'll blow you up good, and nobody makes supercharger kits.  If you've got a 1G, you could get Mike to rig you up a supercharger, but if you've got a 2G, you're SOL.

How much do you like your current car?  How much do you want to spend?

I mean if you save up for a 2G TURBO, and you find yourself needing to swap the block for a 6bolt anyways, might as well rebuild your current 420A engine with stronger internals and drop in a turbo kit.

The only exception to this is if you want AWD.

You're not out of luck, you just need $$$..

You may want to check out here http://www.2gnt.com for more resources on your car.

Don't try to do anything to make your GS Or Rs faster, except myabe a cold air intake. The engine can't handle it. The last owner of my car try to turn my RS into a racing car (put a turbo kit in it, and all this other shit to it) then i bought it minus the turbo kit he put in it. Now the engine has so many problems that it has been floating around different car shops since the beginning of August and is now sitting at Top End, where its been for 2 weeks. The entire bill just to return the car back to normal after its secret life as a turbo eclipse is going to be around around 3500 and it is still rising!

my GS is so slow, its embarrassing.

Old ladies drive up hills faster than me.  I just pretend im not trying....but im like crying inside when vans are cruising past me.

If i have no momentum going up a hill, even with overdrive off, im screwed.  It is all show and no go for a 2G N/T Automatic.

Yesss.....

KA24-T = forged internals and MAF.

420a = cast internals, MAP sensor... ie doesnt read boost.
