Pics of my truck.
« on: August 17, 2004, 08:36:04 am »
Some people wanted to see pictures of my bebe.  Finally got around to getting some webspace.

That was a fun rock climb.  I can't belive this thing made it as far on the trail as it did, thought the non-locked front end would hold me back.  Only one piece of damage and this was turning around, I think the booze was driving at that point.

Time to do some minor body work.[/img]

Yah I figured that, I was SOOOOO close to making it through the whole trail with no damage, then I pull a bone head move like that and get damage on a corner  :P

Thanks for the compliments, yah we dont really call it a truck either, we call it "Turok".  If you just looked at it completely up close you would understand why we call it that.  Also chasing geese across work parking lot, and first comming out of grass as high as the window, it just looked like a dinosaur when it came out  :P

But yah, if any of you are looking at wheeling and trying something else, i highly suggest getting a samurai, they are really cheap, cheap to repair and pretty damn durable.  I am quite impressed, and you MUST weld up the rear, lockers are for sissies

Sweet lookin rig Travis. You should think about welding the front diff too. I ran my front Suzuki axle welded for 5 years. I've moved on to Toy axles now though, welded front and rear of course. Don't worry about the dent I got a matching one this weekend. It came out fairly well.  :D
