April Meet

Ok - Next Saturday April 3rd

We meet at Spanish Banks - last of the parking lot heading west - the one where the Anchor is at the shoreline.

Bring your own food and drink plus a mini BBQ if you have one.

We will start arriving at 12:00'ish

Hang out for a few hours.

Then go for a drive to Stanley park and around the Seawall.

It will be 6:00 easy by then.

From that point we decide on plans for the night-life.

Post party at Robin's place - (enough room for all the bodies that lose consiousness)  - If Robin is ok with it.

Only actual heavy rain will cancel the Spanish Banks BBQ - maybe we'd just switch to group lunch somewhere then.

just talked to the old man...cause hes the one i'm goin with.  He's okay with takin my car over and coming and meetin up with you guys for the bbq, so i'll have my car.  So I can finally meet some non-islanders, pretty pumped, i got a gunmetal 1gb just for when you see me you know its me.

So now i'm prob gunna need some good directions as to where this place is.  And I hope somebody can bring some extra food for us, seen as were just hoteling it we dont really have access to bbq food to bring, we can chip in though.

awesome thanx alot for the map.  Unfortunately it looks like i wont be taking my car, the old man doesn't like riding 3 inches off the ground, and we'll be driving around for a few days..and seen as hes payin for the whole trip i cant really complain...so we'll be rollin in his 91 astro van
i'll still race ya though  :laugh:

John, bring both? ferry boy!!  Its rather expensive, when wage increases through out a year cannot keep up with the inflation rate that the economy has, that trip would be $200 just in ferry trips alone!!  :shock:

yea the ferry is super expensive, it wouldn't be worth it for us to bring two vehicles over, i might still beable to convince him, but hes so used to riding like 4 feet off the ground and beable to see over everyone ..hes got a bad back and shit too, so the bumpyness of the ride doesn't help either, we'll see what happens, it would be nice to get my car out, but even if i cant at least i'll beable to meet all you guys
