Cruise Friday night (the 27th)
« on: February 26, 2004, 11:35:43 pm »
Time: 12:30 AM
Place: White Rock Tim Hortons ( The one right off highway 99, the 152nd street exit.)

Cruise: down king george highway, along the bluff on Crescent road,  then along the strip which turns into 8th ave, make our way over to 16th ave then follow that until 200 street. Cruise north on 200th street until 96th(port kells) ave then down 96th ave back into surrey and end up at the classic denny's location on Scott Road.

^This is just an initial plan so if we dont come up with any good ones at the meet then we can do this. Last time ppl didnt know where they wanted to go and no-one was really leading. Please spread the word to fellow enthusiasts or post it up on other boards so we have a variety of cars and can meet new people.

*Anyone is welcome to call my cell tomorrow night if they need to ask anything. 604-781-7787

Remember: This cruise is weather permitting. If its raining where you are at midnight, then dont show up. I wont be there if its raining.

Hey I was sportin the sticker too :P

Yeah as soon as the officer saw us 20+ cars in a big line they'd obviously pull us over to see whats happening. Im just glad noone was ticketed and they let us continue the cruise.

Pics and Vids are up:

yeah, I woulda pulled us over too. Even though noone was breaking the law ( we were barely crawling ) 20 cars heading towards the strip at 1 am looks suspicious 8) They had officers following our line with all their lights off even.

I thought about notifying them before hand but I dont think there would have been much point.

My co-worker and a buddy were at Tim's and did a huge smoke show before the group took off.

They were not part of the group.

He was in one of the old Corollas.

Someone from Tim's prob called the cops - then assumed it was the group.

:P   Anyone want his name and address  :P

haha. Yeah Marty, those guys were awesome. Two ae86's roll up and both do smoke huge shows at the same time, and then just take off.
 It was pretty cool.

I think we were okay in the parking lot. The cops saw us all when we pulled up to a four way stop (or somthing like that). When they noticed the train of cars then flashed their lights and pulled about half of us over.
No big deal though...they just verified our licences(sp?) and registration papers and then let us go.

All in All, it was stil fun. no tickets no VI's./// :D
