Oil pump sender thread + pitch?

Like it says, what is it?  

'92 with the oil>water cooler.  I took a quick look under the car in the parking lot and it looked like a M10x1 or so.

Took mine apart, looks like a 1/8 npt.   Aren't almost 99% of all senders npt?
