Good links, thanks Fraser.  The picture on the first link is cool.  The self cleaning/idle/delivery quality properties is what I was looking for.

Looking at his formula and using the .56 bsfc you need at least 750cc's to start making any real power though...   :?  hmmm...

How big an injector can you run on a 1G with SAFC?  with that and a 2G MAS too?

No thanks on the offer of 450s there Mike.  Kimyee has mine if I ever feel the desire to grenade my motor.

510-550s are just about the best for a normal street driven monster, add race gas/more pressure and you have the headroom to pull off better numbers with smaller injectors.

I would not tell anyone to run small injectors if they wish to hit low 12s or high 11s, that would be silly. :)

As for how big an injector you can run with an AFC, I would imagine anything under 900cc would be managable. Idle being affected the most with larger ones.

(900cc being twice the size of stock)<---thats my thinking

well, the SAFC you can run up to - 50% correction, and with a 2g mas you usually need to correct to +10 %, so that amounts to 60% bigger injectors, 60% bigger than 450s is 720s

Yeah, I worked out those percentages and that's about what they looked like...

The problem with using that formula is pulling the bsfc as just "ya know, about .56"  If the bsfc changes it changes everything.

I was thinking low 12s on pump gas is a good goal... The problem with street/strip cars is when you get to 11.99 you need a 4 point rollbar or you can forget about racing at the strip.  I don't think I want a rollbar in the Talon...

Fraser passes with it, 2 bearing loops, we have such a small driveshaft it wouldnt do much damage i think if it dropped.
