As topic states, we need to decide in advance so we can do appropriate setting up.

It may be possible that on the June 04-05 date we could possibly go into the Variety Car Club Show and Shine which would be absolutely awesome, go there until like 3:00 then go out to Hope.  That would be dope, a most excellent wekeend I would have to say if everything goes well.

whats the variety car club show? FVT is long and busy enough as it is to not need anything added i think.

Anyway dont plan it on a long weekend.

show and shine is down at the track, i will get more info on this event.  And I am pretty positive we can squeeze the show and shine in to the FVT date, it will take some organizing but im sure we can fit it in, i believe this year we shall make this an all day event, people are coming in from all over, we are not shutting it down at 3:00 like last year and what not.  Have the BBQ down at the show and shine.  I should have the details worked out by this weekend.

Usually the Fraser Valley Tour starts with a meetup in Coquitlam somewhere, a mall parking lot or the like.  We hang out and pop hoods for a while and allow everyone to get there and meet and greet.  Then we line up and convoy through Maple Ridge and into Mission on the #7, do a detour through some back roads for fun, and eventually make our way back to the #7 and cruise to Harrison.  There we go our own ways for lunch, usually in small groups of DSMers and meet back up at a predetermined time.  From there we get back on the #7 and convoy to the Hope slide for pictures and what-not.  Then from there everyone gets on the #1 and goes to wherever they call home.

There's usually a few midpoint regroup spots too.

On a side note, I know last year I heard some complaining that the driving sections were too short and the stopping too long.  Should we maybe add some more road sections?  Perhaps a cruise up the canyon towards Hells Gate?  I can probably add a backroad detour between Mission and Harrison.

I think this year we shall make it a weekend event, its gonna be a packed day of doing stuff on saturday, drags the day before.  It does look like its gonna be June 04-05 for the FVT/Shootout date.  Events will be planned, there will be polls being put in place in the near future to see who all would like to get a hotel room in Mission for the Shootout, it will be the same as last year for the Fraser Valley boys/girls to meet up in back of Mission.  The cruise is relatively gonna be the same as last year but gonna do something in the middle and not stop in Harrison, just go for the long cruise all the way through.  If anyone would like to object with the plans that may be placed forward please speak up or I shall take most of the responsibilities (would love help from others on things) to make this years 04 FVT/Shootout a success.
