anyone bought one recently? or remember the cost.. Ill be buying one tomrorw!

bought $50 from lowell if im not mistaken, $70 from lordco.

$50 for a 1G clutch master cylinder, $30 for the slave cylinder.

when my cylinders went, I drove from Chilliwack to L&R just to pick them up

EDIT- and that was driving my moms Taurus Wagon that's been absolutely soccermom-ified...talk about embarassing...

50-70 good prices? I bought mine, whole new one, not rebuild for $32 from gorge auto parts in victoria..

it was $30 for the slave, but $32 is damn good too. I couldn't find anywhere in chilliwack even close to that price.

FYI jared... ordered you a fenco slave cylinder today, $30.

I could have gotten a new piston and o-ring (rebuild kit) at cambodian tire for $10, but i figured you wouldnt want to wait 2 weeks for it to arrive.

I've got a leak in my slave or master, but i dont know which one it is. Don't know how to tell them apart! But i can see that it has a leak...it's the one that is right next to the bleeder valve. Anyways, i need a new one thats all i know.

The Slave is attached at the tranny, the Master is attached to the firewall. :wink:   Ah, I remember the good old days when I didn't know which was which either :laugh:

The master tells the slave what to do, and the slave does it...

Ie.... master/slave...

as for slave cylinders... i ended up getting a rebuild kit.. includes new piston and o-ring... cost $10, and i installed it while i walked out of lordco...

if you have cluthc fluid all over your floor mat your master is leaking, is it's under your engine, it's your slave, I hope it's your slave, cause the master is really fun to change = )
