Little trip to Manning park

So some of my friends and family are going to venture up to Manning park for some skiing/snowboarding on Monday morning.

We will be leaving Chilliwack at 8:00 am.

I know its sorta early, but it will be best that way.

Oh and I am going to try out snowboarding for the first, so it might be worth it just to watch that   :oops:

swaying your back leg seems to help to get into the flow, im not that good at it, only went once.

Kevins rite...most peoples first day is hard...but don't get discuoraged ...it actually fun once you get the hang of it...I always hated it cause everytime I started getting good it would be time to leave...

were actually going to go to Hemlock now, its cheaper and closer.  We all spent too much money lately.

Brentwood drive in Chilliwack, if anyone wants to come.  Mike, its where we worked on Chris's white VW.

So I mostly skiied, but I did trade up with Chris for his board for 2 runs.  He couldnt get into the skiing so he wanted his board back.

I did enjoy it and on the second run I only wiped out once!!  Hehe, it is fun.

I couldn't make it on monday... However, maybe on the weekend if you want to go again or something I might be up for it.  I went up on saturday and on the way down got hit by 3 other vehicles on the skating rink they call a road.  Don't worry though, I was in my mom's SUV.

no real damage, some paint scratches, but yeah, it was like being in a big pinball machine...  :roll:

I was hoping someone would write it off so I could talk mom into a new Altima or something cooler, oh well, maybe next weekend   :wink:
