for gods sake, instead of trying to nail down the perfect meet, just pick something you want to do, post it up, have people join you, go have fun. And please if someone puts up a meet, dont be "oh we should think about doing this instead" too much confusion. If you'd rather do something else, pick a time and post your own idea. It seems like everytime a meet comes around everyone thinks it's going to be like the last meet ever and we cant ever do anything else so it has to be perfect for everyone. But then there's so much confusion that the meet doesnt get nailed down until a week before.

sorry just ranting.

For Mr. Simkus and Mr. Toor...

We've been there before, no-one can make a freakin decision that everyone will agree with, we sit around and stare at cars.  The odd person will get bored or fed up and leave.

It's best to have a plan and let others say whether they're going to come or not.  It's worked for us in the past.  Hell, the last meet had a huge turnout.  Loads of fun, properly organized, well executed.  If it aint broke, why fix it?

why's that reply directed at me?  i said the exact same thing. The meets that dont work are the ones where 5 people suggest something to do and then nobody actually picks anything until last minute or not at all. The best ones are the ones where someone just steps up picks a time/place/destination, posts it and away we go. So instead of putting polls up of what should we do, just post something up to do, if nobody signs up, try something else.

Hey Andrew, I think you should start a stickey & a signup list for Jan meet.  Even if we don't know where it is going to be yet, might as well get a general idea of who all interested!
