HVAC Lights - Where to buy?

Yeah i know this is in the lounge, but this is the right place for it.

THe little lights that go into the control panel behind the HVAC, i've tried to find them but alas i seem to be inefficient at doing so.

Anybody know where to find the lights that go behind the HVAC? (thinking somebody may have had to do this before)

My other options is to sauder in some resistors and change them all to super-bright LED's.... but i'd like to find replacements first.

Try searching on CA.DSM it was discussed at lenth a looong time ago and I have forgotten the specifics.

Generally though, if you have the plastic bit you can get the bulbs only from Radio Shack (part # ? good luck) or you can get the whole bulb and plastic bit from Satan, The only ones available come from a different Satan car (which one I forget) and they retail at a rediculous $9.00/ea

I know this has not been much help but this info came about before I gained the sense to document everything for future use. :oops:

well.... on ca dsm board, they have a place in missisauga (sp?) that sells them

imho just a wee bit too far to go for bulbs

*Edit: i've checked Radio Shacks locally here (surrey/langley/richmond) and i couldnt find anything... already tried this

I found them in an electronics parts store in Burnaby.
They carry all types of bulbs there.
