Just my .02$ But im thinkin that would be almost too much of a pain in the ass to be worth it.... and A LOT of Money spent there... Better off Buying an AWD. From what I know it can be done though.... I think... hahahaha :?

2G, expensively, yes.
1G, INSANELY expensively, probably.

As is usually decided (except with Turbo Spyders) it's cheaper to strip your car, sell it, and buy an AWD, slap all your stuff back on.

Seems to be the consensus anyways.

Hey Michael, I noticed your sig says FWD but it also says 6/4 bolt.  Just wondering which it is?

Travis, thta's not actually the case.  In the 2Gs, they cheaped out on production, and only created one floor panel, so you're right, all you need is the TC, axles, yadda yadda.  On the 1Gs, they differentiated the floorpan between AWD/FWD, so unless you plan on swapping out the floorpan/subframe, I'm pretty sure you're SOL

Somebody on this board should do the conversion.   It can't be that hard.

Should be mostly a simple parts swap.  Just lots of them.... :x

Anything else (floorpan -according to RRE) shouldn't be a problem if you have a plasma cutter and a tig.

Put a 2WD and AWD up on hoists, side by side and note the differences, if any......
