Chris, you said that phatom knock goes away as soon as you put race gas in?  Does that mean gone for good or just for the time the race gas is in your tank?  Lowell data logged my car and he said that I have it when Im in 3rd.  I havent really noticed it really since I put race gas in at the track awhile back.

what chris was saying is that usually "phantom knock" isn't really phantom knock. It's just regular knock that's been improperly diagnosed, and disappears (temporarily) with high-octane gas.
