BC DSM will be teaming up with Mopars Unlimited. The volunteer roles for both clubs is that of parking lot monitoring and accepting money at one of the donation tables. It is important to keep emergency lane ways clear, cars parked in numbered lanes, vacated parking spots filled and, perhaps, reporting any security issues (B&E's, vandalism, etc.) with regards to cars to the authorities.
Last year, Mopars Unlimited had eight volunteers, who were run off their feet. If both clubs can get about a dozen volunteers, then the task becomes easier for all.
There were 1,348 cars at the 2013 show and approximately 550 cars at the 2014 show (the threat of rain kept most peeps away). This is going to be a fun event - a mix of cars, enthusiasts, food, vendors, yoga classes (kidding) & sunshine (as one of the organizers promised).
See if you can't help BC DSM with its Web site upgrade goals by volunteering your time. Club members want smartphone photo uploads and etc. It takes $ to provide this service to club members.
