Hey guys, figured I'd add to this.
For a test I filled my car with Shell 92, usually it's on chevron 94, I noticed that I got knock on the same tune and also my total amount of km per tank was lower by about 20km. I've gone back to Chevron 94, and now no knock still on the same tune. Take that with a grain of salt. I'm sure I can run 92 Shell gas but don't feel like re-tuning for it.
I also run a wally 400, upgraded from a wally 255 hp pump which I thought was on it's way out. You WILL need an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator for this pump. I remember that when I upgraded the pump and line to my filter my fuel pressure jumped 7 psi if I remember correctly. The pump is way quieter than the wally 255 but is not quite as direct a fit as the wally 255.
If I were to convert to E85 there would need to be more than the one gas station around to get it. Also don't you get less km per tank as compared to gas?
Later, Vlad.
