This is good stuff.... I'll consider it pre-emptive tuning training.  Oh BTW Allen, I think I would like to consider your ECU.  I'll PM you

hey if its not knocking, and its holding a steady AFR, then its ok.

Of course it won't be optimal, but it will be driveable.

I haven't had to add that much when the methanol sprays.  Usually only .1-.3

Now I'm really lost! ok so my understanding was i would have to remove one full afr but it just .1 or so! ....now i'm guessing my injectors are not scaled correctly  i'am going to turn off meth an reflash to before meth rom and log a pull, see if i hit 11.5

then i'll add meth and see how rich i get. On a side no i was able to pull 16 deg at 6500 at 240 load, with my current seup so much better.

good results, cool!

yea I was kinda hoping there was a scaler or a calibration routine you can do.  I have that ability in my Mazdaspeed (Cobb Accessport) tuner to calibrate for different MAF sensors. Its very important and very very type A in its fiddliness, but it must be done correctly or your stuff will be off.

If your commanded AFR does not equal your actual AFR, your maf is incorrectly calibrated or you have a boost leak somewhere.  Or somethings busticated, but on that car, its VERY sensitive so you would have a CEL if it was broked.

Being that you have a choice of MANY injectors, your scaling, dead times or size could be off.  Mine does not have that ability as there are only one kind of injector for it.  Stock.

On the Talon, my afr does not change much with and without methanol.  And I have 3 nozzles.  I don't know how big a D07 is tho, so if its HUGE maybe that will change things up.

I also tend to tune leaner with methanol/methanol water than just with pump gas as it can tolerate it.  too rich and you loose power as well as carboning up your chambers.

The D07 flows about 9gph with my 150psi pump. I think it's a little much just knowing how often I fill my tank!
Anyways I rescaled my injectors and also found a boost leak so it seems my problems are getting fewer! I can now shoot for 11.5 afr from 120 load up to 11.8 at 320 havn't ran it through its paces yet, but I will post back this weekend with results.

Cool, looking better and better!!

The 11.8 may be a tad lean, put that down to 11.5 at least for now.

Once you get it so its a consistant afr and no knock with a nice smooth timing table, no flat spots in power or torque, then you can play with fine tuning it.
