I like the looks of the GSC S2 cams, and I have the same turbo as you, basically.

as for the housing/exhaust swap, how do you do this without having the fab shop do all the work?

IE, you take off a DSM flanged hot side, O2 housing and downpipe.  Now you have to replace it all, but will it all fit?  I would like to go Garrett T3 instead of the DSM housing.

I almost went with the gsc s2 but grabbed the comp 200 since they were available locally. They idle like factory, 19"vacuum at 1000rpm, so far no complaints.  I may be selling my 0.63 t3 4 bolt housing in a couple of months time.

yea Lowell, I don't want to tow from Chilliwack.  I was hoping you had a creative solution.

I had the comp 200's, but took em out and sold em

If you want to get creative, I bet once you get a header and we know the positioning of the Turbo, I could make a good enough template to make a proper downpipe without even bringing your car in.

i ran several times without a downpipe....  thats how i ran it at the track.  it just Gives MOAR POWER!! ahahha\

but that was off the stock o2 housing which at least shoots the exhuast downwards, which i assume the ones ur talking about dont do.

John...  just get BCAA...  i get a membership every year and its like $125 for the top membership which includes 6 tows..  2 or 3 of which can be up to like 360 km's in distance and the rest of which can be up to 160km's......  sounds like a good idea if your going to own old cars like the talon, murkur, 2000GTX. all u would have to do is like unplug your fuel pump and say its a no start...phone bcaa and a tow truck would tow it to whereever you wanted within the 360/ 160 km area.

i renew it every year...  and i save money off it using my BCAA at mohawk husky for gas and purchases.  last year i saved $85 off my membership fee.

and let me tell you.... i have probably saved 1000's of dollars over the years in tow bills... and most of the time its just cuz i bought a new car *new to me* that needed work, so i just put my plates on it and phoned bcaa... they tow it everytime with no questions asked.  One time i had a buddies car towed from abbotsford all the way to kamloops... no charge ahhahah... and i could have went even farther.

Ya BCAA is great.  They've bailed me out a few times but I've never used them for a planned tow... maybe I should try it.

John, if you've got access to a trailer I can tow it.  I would love to have a single car tandem axle flat deck trailer with an ATV winch on the nose, too bad they're like $3500.  With 16" removable stake sides I could get a lot of use out of one.

Yeah a car trailer would be nice... I also have been bailed out by bcaa when I lock my keys in my car (happens at least once a year).

Bcaa also towed my buddies colt home from the racetrack last year after his colt threw a rod.
