a head is not the sort of thing you want to do this to yourself if you have to ask the question.

I wouldn't get it done anywhere that hasn't done specifically 4 valve turbo heads many times with success.  Its different than a normally aspiriated domestic head.

Sure removing some casting flash etc is ok, but actually changing shapes needs to be done by someone who knows the head.

As well, until you are making well over 500 awhp on a Mustang dyno, there is no real need.

true, spend your money else where... like tuning.

but i know a guy that does magic on 4cyl turbo heads.  His name is Lance.  I found him through Kevin at Evolution Auto performance.  Or there is Fraser Valley Engines in abbotsford.. they do porting and i would trust them in a heartbeat/.

I have a guy in abbotsford that did mine. I'm super happy with it and since the head is off might as well get every last ounce. I will post him number when I get his ok.

wasnt it that who ever assembled didn't know how to properly setup the timing belt etc?  Or did they actually do something wrong machining wize?

this time? >:( it was re assembled wrong (upside down springs!), the guides were damaged when installed, and leak down before engine was run was at 15% in 1,2,4. and 35% in 3. >:(

Last time I got the motor back from him and it had 2 bent valves in one cylinder.

Ide say that's good enough reason to NEVER go back there.  That's for sure.
If a machine shop does anything wrong, or ruins good parts, they should have to replace it at their own cost.
As far as porting a head goes,  unless your making stupid power already,   Ide spend the money elsewhere.
Turbo,  Cams,  Meth    etc...
There are plenty of people making a ton of power without port and polish work.
337awhp.  ---> 500 awhp ? =)

Replacing parts since early 2010.

springs in wrong, etc, thats just horrid.
