i have been through this a couple times........its not fun. with the value of these cars i would just start over. maybe buy yours back keep all the parts and part it out. unless you are going to do everything yourself, its not going to be worth it. and in the end it can still be failed by some anal inspector. or maybe you do all the work and find out its something that cant be fixed. everything costs money these days, and you always spend over your budget. if you have any specific questions fire away.

safety inspections vary depending where you live. i think one i did was $75 and another $100. but then i had to do an alignment. so another $120. also i heard that if there is aircare in your city you have to redo that as well.
ahah we both have a good side. lets sue each other!

Thanks guys the damage isn't that bad and icbc said they would fix it but parts are hard to find. My dad is retired bodyman and says its an easy fix and the body shop he use to work at said 75.00 and an hour. and the shop down the road will do the safety. No airfcare here on the island. My only concern as far as structure goes is the front bumper itself was cut to allow for the big fmic i was thinking of finding one installing it with just a straight pipe in place of the fmic then after the inspection reinstall it. Still need to find a hood thats my only hold up so far.
