Arrive 11:30am
Depart 12:00pm
Arrive in White Rock 12:30-1ish Park at far parking lot on Marine Dr.
Get some fish n chips or something.
Directions:
Aldergrove Lake Park is accessed off of 8th avenue just east of 272nd St in where else but...... Aldergrove!
For those comming from the East:Exit hwy #1 SOUTH at Mt. Lehman
Go straight through the light heading WEST on fraser highway.
Turn Left (SOUTH) onto 272nd (in downtown aldergrove 7-11 on the corner)
Turn Left (East) onto 8th ave.
The entrance to the park on your right about 100-200 meters from the 272/8th intersection.
For those comming from the NorthWest(along hwy1)Exit Hwy 1 SOUTH at 264th
Head South down 264th (left turn at the light after exiting the freeway)
Follow 264th down to 16th (second light, there isnt many of them)
Turn Left (EAST) onto 16th ave.
Turn right (SOUTH) onto 272nd st
turn left (EAST) onto 8th ave.
The entrance to the park on your right about 100-200 meters from the 272/8th intersection.
For those comming from hwy99/91/surrey along hwy10Exit for surrey Hwy 10 EAST, follow hwy 10 to 176 turn right (SOUTH)
Get onto 16th heading EAST
Turn right (SOUTH) onto 272nd st
turn left (EAST) onto 8th ave.
The entrance to the park on your right about 100-200 meters from the 272/8th intersection.
Please someone point out if they see any errors in there just did it off the top of my head. Bring your FRS if you have them, my number is 778-773-0921 if anyone's going to be late or something happens etc.
I will be at the park regardless of rain or shine if it's raining and people show up we can decide on something more indoors or, some more local food perhaps, kelseys, red robin, boston pizza, pub whatever doesnt matter to me. or we can still head to white rock and get some pics in the rain, bring an umbrella or jacket just in case
All regular board members are allowed to bring their cars, whether its a dsm or a colt or an srt i think i'll even say merlins corrola can come(BTW Kevin, aldergrove is only 5 minutes accross the border accessed through bellingham from guide-meridian st in washington. If you have a friend who
really loves dsms and wants to bring their car for fun i suppose we should allow it once in awhile so they can come too, but lets try and keep the dsms in a pack for driving and lets try not to keep the dsms in majority too
. PS There will be driving instructions given at the meet so be prepared to follow my orders, a salute would be nice too
Anyone that does come that isnt familiar with our cruises, be sure they are aware that there is to be
NO Reckless driving, this will not be tolerated. The cruise will be at a comfortable pace keeping with the flow of traffic. There isnt really much choice the route we're taking anyway.
