I will look into it some more.
We just want to get the car going thought this would be the best way for now. Also seeing that the only wiring going to the tranny is for the speedo though it was a safe bet it was not ECM Controlled. The gearing thing I looked into and it is the same as a 5speed the dif/tcase and rear is the same. But I will really get in to it to make sure. The last thing I want is my son to have a crash over this. I think you all know this car it's a shame the "rebuilt" tranny only lasted 2 blocks. I would post a pic of the car if I could figure out how to.... Haha

well even if the wiring, ecu stuff and gearing is fine, it will still be WAY easier to just get that tranny reubilt.  It will be roughly a grand at Berts on Kingsway.  maybe a couple hundred more, unless a main shaft is broken or a case is cracked etc.

Ya I just got all the pricing for the rebuild and think we are just going to go that way. Think we got scared off with some of the prices people where saying. I think I opened of a sh*** pie with this car trying to find out the year of all the stuff I think the tranny tcase and rearend are diff years and mix of eclipse and talon right from 97to 99:-(

I think any 95-99 awd 5spd parts will interchange.  Eclipse and Talon are only different in some cosmetic things such as factory body kit, wheel styling etc.
