I have used the PC680 (oddesey) battery for 2 years now and its been working great (in my 4g61t 89 Colt GT).  Starts great every morning, even when it dips down to -20 in the interior.  Granted it doesnt have a great reserve capacity, but it does what i need! Im sure if i had a big audio/entertainment system it wouldnt fit my needs.

I had a "kinetic" battery sorta the same style before but i broke the terminal loose sorta on it and it dies pretty quick now...  only lasted like 6 months that one, but it was sorta my fault it got wrecked.
I like Colts.  Turbo Colts.

you can see the noid light thru the gap between the hood and engine bay from inside.
bought a noid light set ...tested injector 3 and 4 ....no pulse...(noid light tested before installing in injector clips.

Checking the MPI relay next?

ECU will shut off the fuel pump if it loses the rpm signal.  Does the EMS show good battery voltage?

EMS dashboard says 1.65--2.00 volts!!!???  What does this mean??

Update!!!   pin 102+107  1.2-1.4 volts  Pin 103 =12 volts

I looked at the Lithium Ion batteries when I was getting my new one, but they are too pricey for this guy...

holy crap that one is only 6.6lbs!!

not sure I am into LiPos for a car battery tho.  I have an RC helicopter that uses them and there are some issues with LiPo life, explosions and chargers.  They are a bit finicky.

That said I believe Hyundai uses LiPos in its hybrid Sonatas, so I am sure they will figure that stuff out quickly.

I am going to play around with the MPI relay today....to try to get some power to pin 102,107

beyond that I may need another AEM EMS.

While testing the MPI relay I stumbled upon the issue.
The 20a ignition fuse was barely melted...Actually if I shake it , it would connect.
Had to take out the fuse cover to actually see if it was disconnecting.
While shaking the Fuse assembly (to the positive batt) the ignition pwr wire actually fell off.

I pushed the cross wire in the fuse to reconnect,reinstall/repaired the ign pwr wire.
Crank the engine with noid light on 3,4 and the motor started briefly.

Ran the car for ten minutes (with all injectors connected),,,,,removed the spare PT and coil, left the spare CAS on the motor.
Ran the car again to make sure everything was OK..

The whole process was very educational..(but inconvenient).
