Has anyone bought and installed one of these ebay fmic kits on there 2G?

looks like a half decent kit.  Looks like the same one RTM sells for $100+ more.

just wondering if anyone has installed this kit, and how it ended up, and what was required to make it fit (cutting, fab etc)

I have a kinetic one which looks just like the ebay one. I trim the pass side rad support to fit the cold side ic pipe and that's pretty much the hard part and they fit really nice.

yeah they alll look to be the same sort of design (one from ebay, and VRS one)..  the clamps/couplers look to be a bit better on the VRS kit...

yep i had a similar kit which will get you quite far.  i ended up modifying mine slightly to make it fit my setup better.  get it!

The Ebay kit has free shipping option, which is nice... as long as you have a mailbox in the states, or if you use a company like ship happens.

Wow, those both look pretty sick.
Mine's been sitting in my garage for year a year now...guy that had it before me painted the pipes and I've been meaning to strip the paint off and make them shiny and then install. But for the life of me, I can't find any decent priced couplers. Is the going rate really $45 each? Wtf?

yup. if your looking for 90's or 45's this is the place to go. if not just buy two three feet of it and cut it yourself to save yourself further cash. i have used these guys before and it was really fast shipping. i have one of these ebay intercoolers, and mine works great. it was said before only moding was done on the passenger side rad support.
