Are all valve retainers the same and available?

Hey guys,

So I replaced the valved seals and have removed all the excess carbon build up on this 2003 Pt Cruiser head I'm doing. The head is out of the car.

Anyways I was on the 13th valve and the spring compressor slipped and flung a keeper.

Am I fucked? do I have to buy a retainer specific to that head or are retainers a standard size?

Im sure they're a standard size.

Call Lordco and ask for a part number.
Then call Napa and compare. lol.

Napa or wakefield sperling. I swear Im going to jump the counter at lordco someday. Maybe people like service with attitude. not me...Some young dork working the counter there wouldnt give me my BCIT discount because I didnt have my card. So i threw the BCDSM account at him and he shut right up.  Then I let him know that Ive shopped at Lordco since he was in diapers. Poor service and pricing, whereas Napa and Wakefield take care of you.

Chad,  if the retainers match those of a dsm , I have a garbage head with all valves, springs and retainers.  Yours free if itll work.
