Well it was nice to get back out to the track!  It was nice to see 4 or 5 DSM's there!

Lowell's car seemed to be running good.  He was running pretty consistant in the 11.5's.    Looked like he was hardly trying going down the track!!

Nice to see Doug and Paul make it out in there DSM's as well!

The storm performed well.  I took the heavy sub box out, and put on some new tires today, as well as an alignment as well.

We got what we wanted out of her.  I managed a 14.9 @ 94 MPH w 2.2 60'  This was @ 6psi, running PIG rich (no tune) and with the stock tiny Impulse RS turbo, and heatsoaking top mount intercooler.  A bag of ice helped cool the intercooler down between runs, which seems to help the heatsoaking.

Really happy with how she is running,  it seems to be pulling HARD for only 6 psi...  Cant wait to get a good intercooler on it, a bigger, better flowing turbo and piping and a good diameter exhuast on it. Maybe add some tuning and maybe some methanol and  I can definalty see 13's with those....  and then some slicks would really wake it up coming off the line.   lots of potential still left in the little geo.

Oh, Jason, Remi, Doug, and Paul.  I am sorry you were beat buy a girl driving a geo storm ;) ;) HAHAH!

Nope! I did a 14.8 @ 95mph;).  Yvonne could have done better than all of us including you Brett ;) if she didn't miss a shift.  I almost had a Porsche but he walked me on 3rd gear :(.  Am pretty happy though, I beat 3 civics that night(2 old school si's and the newish type R hatch) ;D ;D ;D.  I race Doug on his t28 2g, He got me of the line but had him by .2 sec at the end. ;D ;D.

So who won the battle of luxury cars? Remi or Jason?

Lowell's car is a sleeper :o.

all in all it was a good night and for those who missed out there's always a next time.

His sig says 399whp on a 50 trim, so I guess he's on to a bigger snail.

I think jason's IS300 ran a 15.5???  im pretty sure that was it or maybe a little faster.  It appeared as 100% stock..  and im pretty sure the ET reflected that.  VERY nice car tho.  Nice pick jason!

That V8 BMW of remis sure did the job tho! im sure with some more agreesive tires and launch it would be in the 14's.  I really like that wagon!!

Kris:   Thanks, Now my wife wants a audi allroad bi-turbo as well...   I told her she better start making more money... or pay her personal mechanic better ahha

Oh and i was taking to lowell.. and he did make 399 WHP on the 50 trim.  He was talking about how his tune had changed a bit from the new airbox he had fabricated out of carboard ;)  so he thought he was making a bit less power then he did before on the top end.

Jason and I both had a 15.6 but he was at 91 mph to my 88.

Like Brett says that wagon has more in it. It's still running the restrictive 3L exhaust, and with the hydraulic rear suspension disabled but still installed the rear end hopped a lot ( I lost a muffler tip from it...)  With decent tires (4 year old all seasons on it now) proper non-SLS rear struts and a better exhaust it should be at least a high 14. I could also pull the full sized spare, fully equiped bmw toolkit with metal frame, the 1/4 thick wood floor panels above the spare/tool kit and the rear seats to add 150 lbs of lightness.

Kris' car also has more in it, but he said it was tricky to get it to not bog. Needs more boost!

For both Kris and I it was a baseline run night. We're both going to be doing some tuning now so it will be neat to see the result.

Last dyno pull was 399whp/358tq, but the boost was going up on the top end of the track due to the ram air setup.  From that tune I removed 2 deg timing, added 2% fuel and turned the Kinetic MBC down a hair and that's when I ran 127mph.  On my last pass I turned the controller back to the dyno setting but left the tune the same.  Picked up 2mph in the 1/8th but the boost went too high in 4th and it only ran 126mph.  That pass should have been 129+.

Matt's red Supra went almost 135mph with 530whp, and I would guess a race weight of 3650-3700lbs.  A 3000lb DSM with 500whp (Mustang dyno) should go 137-139mph...
