NEED ASSISTANCE
« on: August 26, 2011, 08:50:15 pm »
I will need help next weekend to do a clutch job.  I have a small compressor and air impact gun, but I have only done one clutch job before and that was on a fwd '85 prelude.  I have never done an awd and was told that it is a lot harder.  If anyone is free on the weekend and wishes to HELP (free, maybe some beer) me with the job I would appreciate it.  All this is dependant upon the clutch coming in.

It can be quite painful if it has not be done before on your car.

Nobody wants to go underneath a dirty engine compartment.
and get covered head to toe in dirt/oil.

Both axles has to be separated ,,transfer case removed.
the car should be as high as possible on 4 jack stands.

Pry bars ,,,big hammers ,,,36mm axle nut socket...Pans to catch dripping oil etec.

Generally you will need help to reinstall the tranny.

Dont pull your axels Bryan, if thats what you were going to do.     just release the 2 bolts to the strut.  and the inner axel will slip out.    both sides!

just try to line the strut-hub assembly back up the way it was.    **** unless youre replacing the axels...
337awhp.  ---> 500 awhp ? =)

Replacing parts since early 2010.
