if your going to go turbo... its best to just get a complete turbo 4g63t with a complete engine (mani's/turbo/injectors/ecu/harness) and swap that in along with the turbo FWD tranny.  That way you have the bulletproof bottom end with the better pistons/oil squirters etc.. instead of the high compression N/A 4g63 in your talon.

And then, after you do all that work, and start making power.... your going to want traction...

So i recommend maybe selling your N/A 2.0 dsm and getting a Turbo AWD 5-speed DSM.  It will save a lot of work...

BUUTTTT if you are really set on running turbo on your N/A DSM then you will need the following.

14b/13g  turbo with manifold, o2 housing and downpipe for a 90-94 talon.  You will also need the oil feed line, oil drain line, and the turbo 4g63 oil pan as well..  if your n/a 2.0l is a 7 bolt then you *mIGHT* need to get a turbo 7 bolt 1G oil pan for it to bolt up to your engine.

You will also need a turbo 91-94 ECU.  You will also need a 1G turbo wiring harness OR you will have to add the extra wires into your N/A harness.

You will also need a 1G Turbo MAS as well... 450cc turbo injectors..knock sensor.. as well as you will probably see a fair bit of knock with the higher N/A compression.

Dont forget a SMIC with intercooler piping AND 1G BOV....  or you can go with a pre-fab kit or custom ebay one or something instead of OEM stuff.

Oh and i wouldnt run much more then 10 psi of boost with the high compression...  it will hold 10psi but i bet not much more for extended periods of time.

noooo thats a horrible kit..  dont even consider that.

just put all the OEM stuff on there including the turbo and manifold... it all bolts in and requires NO fabrication or welding (besides maybe the exhuast)

Rohitash:

As you are probably gathering by now, the path you are proposing to follow is one that is well marked with the blood, sweat, tears and dollars of many who have attempted this before you.

Pretty much boils down to: it can be done but why?  After a whole lot of effort and money you'll basically be the same or less than a stock car which would take a whole hell of a lot less effort and time, or if you got a stock turbo car and then put that time and money into it you would have a Godzilla.

If you're in love with the n/t that you just got, keep it, drive it as is, and look for a cheap awd to fix up. You really have to have at least two dsms to have a decent chance of being able to drive one on any given day anyway.

yo     I heard these things come turbo!

If you want turbo, You really must only buy a turbo model. Or atleast do a full engine swap with wiring etc.
Ive bought enough individual parts for these cars at "a good price" and there is no way that trying to turbo an N/A would be cheaper. You need to incorporate parts that would probably equate to more than swapping in a turbo motor w/ all the required parts included. That statement may be a tad invisible. Considering you want better connecting rods, pistons, lower compression, map sensor, wiring harness, computer, gaskets, etc.

add it all up and it all boils down to buying a turbo model, or doing a complete swap

I DO believe you can probably turbo your car with a kit for cheap...      but It would be the  wrong kind of cheap in this instance IMO

If you want more then 600 awhp buy an empty shell of a 1gb, sell a house and, build your self a rocket car.

If not buy some ones old toy for 3500 bucks awd 16g fmic apex2 and a boost gauge and shock you self with how much fun 300 hp can be for less then a swap on a non trubo.

Then google.
Then read old postings about it.
Then ask.
