Magnus Billet Rods
« on: April 19, 2011, 02:03:45 pm »
well Zach patiently waited for Magnus to supply a set of billet rods for his 2.4 monster ... it only took 7 months, the better part of 50 phone calls just to Magnus, and us relocating the shop to get these rods ... BUT THEYRE HERE!!!!

Yea but dan... you have to understand.   Zachs rods were mined from the earth 6 months ago by a wealthy iranian man, shipped to the states, packed off to magnus and then they were designed and cut a week ago.   and he JUST got them !!   not bad for 50 phone calls and a 7 month wait.

thats the story right zach?

They were forged at the peek of evrest and all liquid from cooling to drinking water up there was under 10 min old babys tears. The only people that worked on them had to be missing one leg one arm and blind or deff.

So you understand why it took so long.

Ps. The rods smell like talcum powder.

While those Groden aluminum rods are nice, they are not street car rods.  They are meant to be changed out regularly on race cars with limited time on the engines.
