My dad is currently contemplating buying a 90 or 91 M5 :)  Black on black leather, and get this, 25,000 original KM!!!!

John you area legally required to make him do this.
If you don't, I will.

These cars are absolutely amazing...
Hand to heart if I had known what a sleeper they are I would never have owned an e36. You get 99% of the performance (in every measure) for 10 times the comfort and class.

Plus then you can borrow it and bring it to auto-x/street legals, and I can compare... hahaha.

Nice rare touring!! I sold my euro e30 few weeks ago.

What did you sell for, if you don't mind the inquiry?
Honestly looks a billion times better than mine.

Also, e30 M3 > all.
Simple. Light. No electronic nannies. Clean styling, and just the right size too.
Objects in mirrors appear to be losing.

I now have my name on an M62b44 from a 98 540, and a manual to go with it... :)

4.4L, last year before vanos and known to make power higher than the 290hp/310lb-ft they were rated for (stock cars dyno 270whp/290wtq.)

That should be enough to have fun with a few people :)

Looks like alky injection and a chip is necessary for my measly 250bhp.

Hey, we've got wagons we need to do this race properly.
I'll haul a dozen bags of concrete mix, you haul a flat of brickwork,

You have more power and turbo torque but your Audi is fatter.
I have hydraulic suspension, You have air suspension, (I'm assuming it has a similar load adjusting setup)

It'll be a close race.

Besides, this engine swap is still a ways off.

For now i'm only at 220.
Plan is to get all the parts in the next few months and then put it all together in the fall.

After that I have my eyes on outrunning a certain M3 that I know at mission, have to make sure everyone comes out to see a wagon running the 1420 haha.

Just make sure you challenge me before it goes in that way you stand a chance....

(yeah, I said it!)

I'm in!!  We should do a battle of the non-dsm stuff!  Cars people expect to be nice, comfortable and faster than most, but not tuned DSM fast.

This is starting to sound like some bastardized vintage Top Gear challenge. Probably more like a spinoff called "Automatic Overdrive" or something... we need a third, Brett will be James.

I say Brett can be Jeremy.  He is tall and has a minor pot belly, but can drive pretty good.

Remi's overly tall and has flyaway hair, he can be Cap'n slow.  I have an odd love for 911s and am on the wee side, so I will be the Hampster.

Have we met?

My personality is totally Clarksons.
First off i'm taller than brett - second I haven't had long hair in a while, shaved it off.
Most importantlly I'm right about everything and have only owned *the best* cars in the world.
(I'm also opinionated grumpy and generally think most people are doing it wrong)
People honestly compare me to him all the time. I used to think it was a compliment until I started watching it, now i'm not so sure...

You're to calm to be hammond, he's a bit firey. No, I think you slot nicely into the James may hole myself. (Wait... what?)
