maxed out 550's will make in the 275whp area on our dyno. 650's would allow for a bit of a cussion and be good for the 325whp area.

this would be on un-aided 94 pump gas - meaning no meth.

For context their Dyno with an AWD car on it will be roughly 35% drivetrain loss, so 275 at the wheels is close to 350-380hp at the crank,

whp on our mustang dyno has approx 25% difference from crank actually.  most 300whp cars are making approx 400 crank hp.  OR 275whp is approx 365 crank.

Huh?

Either way, I was just pointing out that the mustang based figures are different (and more accurate, as it loads the car better than most dynojets for example)

When I say roughly, I mean roughly. As far as I know the exact drivetrain % for dsm's has never been decided, but its something between 15-20%. I was just adding that onto the mustang loss which is what, 20%?

as for the original question, a big fat no is in order.

650s minimum, and with injector pricing where it is, get bigger ones. Any injector upgrade is going to have to have some sort of electronic upgrade too(engine management) so no matter what size, thats the same.

yeah.. 18 psi and 16g wont work.

I have ran a 14b running 18 psi of boost and i was around 95-105% IDC (injector duty cycle)

if you have a 95... then you have a EPROM stock... if its 96 then not many came eprom equipped if any at all.

I would personally go with a EPROM chipped.  Then you can have controll over timing and options such as launch control and NLTS...

also you can properly compensate for bigger injectors without jacking your timing advance up

SAFC's alter the MAFS and because of that you get exsessive timing advance.

Can't they flash the 97-99 ecu's?

When I went with larger injectors (850cc) for my 97 I went with a chipped 95 Eprom.  I chose an injector size that still left some room to support more power in the future since I figured that 500hp would be my outside goal and the price difference between the 750, 850, 950 etc was negligible. I went with a size that many similar 450-500 builds were using successfully.  Just make sure that your IDC are good for your projected power goals.
