Some Pics of my 'projects'
« on: December 08, 2010, 07:06:36 pm »
I have a few pics of my current projects. First up, is my 96 Dodge Indy pace truck.  These are 2 summers ago.  I've changed a few things since.  I switched from 2" lower springs to 2" lowering spindles and modified the rear shackles so as to have a 2 front drop and 3 back, the 3/4 always looked a little low on the as$ end.  Way nicer ride, kinda dates me a bit(lol) but I don't like bouncing around anymore.  This winter she is getting some more power, just didn't seem like enough anymore.  So new heads(iron rams), new cam, timing components, 1.6 roller rockers, modified throttle body and intake( possible new intake), headers and a high flow cat.

I am the original owner of it, got it with 4km on the clock.  It has never seen winter, except the freak storm at the end of May one year.  She still has the original wipers on it.  Here is the 2005 Chev with the 8100 Vortech.  Gonna switch cams in it for more torque for pulling and get a new tune from Westers.

I'll get some pics of the talons up soon.  Couple are snow covered and one is resting nicely on jack stands.  Needed a little TLC, so I ripped the motor out and replaced some seals and such.

PS. Marke you can throw a few pics of your beast in here too, if you like.  Your the first Indy truck owner that I have met that has a 4 cylinder also. LOL.

Mileage is 15mpg highway 12mpg city 10-12mpg loaded/pulling.  I really like the throttle response compared to our Duramax, torque comes on really quick.  Fun to drive.

It has a few mods, true dual exhaust, long tube headers, 1.6rr's, 4:10 lsd, cold air intake, 4/6" drop.

Wow, that looks awesome.  I like it.  Thanks for sharing the pics.  In regards to the decals, I hadn't given it much thought, I put them on the truck 14+ years ago....  But I think some change might be good for it.  I would love to stick a srt-10 type hood on it and I really like the grill you got on it with the bumper, it looks mean.  And I should freshen the paint up, I live on gravel roads, hard on paint, lots of rock chips near wheel wells.
