yah id love to put it on an awd mustang dyno to get an awhp number, atleast i wasnt on an inertia dynojet dyno
the numbers I put down should be close if I was to go on a rwd mustang dyno... like I said It was loaded up on the dyno with the eddy brake not just an inertia pull like on a dynojet, it was on the dyno being tuned for almost 3 hours.. the car was running pig rich when we ran it the way I got it. AFRS @ 7400 RPM were like 8.5:1
and I only put down like 333 horse @ 7450 rpm and max torque was 283 @ 5150. on my first run with the old HKS Fcon piggy back ecu that was in there. (that was our baseline to see what It had as it sat, straight from japan, as is)
ditched the HKS Fcon and went with Nistune chip on factory ECU with USB cable and tuning software and a buddy of mine in victoria who has been tuning strictly GTRS since they were legal tuned it up since it was so rich we had alot of room to lean it out safely. got up to 457 @ 7000 rpm and 404 torque @ 5250 rpm. I still had room to go higher but I installed my electronic boost controller the day before tuning day and we couldnt figure out all the goofy settings on the greddy profec b spec 2 unit and we couldnt get it to boost past 19 psi, I have since learnt how to use it and will be getting it tuned up some more this summer. The engine is healthy, the turbos are easily capable of 500 hp and I dont really have anything restricting my 500 hp goal, just need to make sure my fuel pump isnt stock and if it is replace it with a bigger one and throw some more boost at it.
