For those that missed the BBQ on the 12th
« on: September 14, 2003, 08:08:35 am »
well,  it seems like a few people missed that one that wanted to come, Kevin, Mike, Ryan Coft, Bobby, Robin, Ryan O, maybe Chris?
Also we had some (4 votes) for the 19th anyway.

So, I figured, why not have another one on the 19th??  Or another date?

that nite would be good tho, for those not racing till sat, we could frig around with our cars etc.

what ya all gotta say on the subject?

Why not have it on Saturday during the day?  Tune your cars, bbq, then head off to Mission for the 4pm SL.  For anyone out of the immediate area, it takes more than an hour to get through traffic on a weekday.

Looks to be a lunch BBQ, so just bring what you wanna throw on the flames.

I strongly suggest against alcohol, as we will be tuning(driving in some cases) and then driving to Mission and racing.

anyone got a spray bottle with ice cold water we could bring so we can spray our intercoolers before we race?

We could also use a propane tank

lol... yeah... but anything to cool it down could help  :D

I was thinking of making the purge spray in front of the intercooler instead of it spraying in front of the windshield... that would help cool it down...
