Glad you are okay tho Kyle.  Could have been nasty if you were driving at high speed and that snapped on you.

Good eye Brett.  The lateral arm's ball joint gave and the car's weight fell on the the axle, correct?

Alright so I heard a clunking so i pulled the lateral arm out ball joint was still nice and tight. Filled it with grease to last till Thursday, pay day. Then the cv axle just snapped driving down the road. The ball joint is still good besides the torn boot but I'm replacing it anyways now.

I'm glad you're doing fine Kyle and nothing else got damaged.  In the first picture I just thought your car was normally lowered that height... then I saw the second pic and I was like Oh shit

I was gonna say thats just the boot.

Tho something let the axle come out that far.  Did the axle shaft actually break or did something else let go and allow it to pull out of the inner joint?

to me the axle looks fine.

Looks like either of the upper or lower ball joints separted or came loose.  From the first pic and the extreme neg camber i would say something to do with one of the ball joints coming apart is at fault.

I dont see the axle just poping out of the inner cup by itself!

Did you forget to tighten the ball joint nut properly kyle when you put it back together?

Alot of the times it will just spin and you need to use a jack in order to put pressure on the ball stud so it wont turn.

In the 2nd pic it looks as if the weight of the car is on the strut and thats all thats keeping the car from scraping the ground.  the wheel is still attached *note angle of tie rod* .   You can clearly see there is nothing attached to the lower ball joint.

Hope you got it all fixed up okay !  You might be able to just get a new CV boot, and grease and put it all back together!!

or is that what you were saying you did already lol?

I dunno, once you get dirt in a axle, you usually cant just regrease them and put them back together.

But it looks like you lost your upper control arm ball joint.
