Lori, i think you just misunderstood what i was trying to say....
There are two different kinds of Bookings at TBC.
One is you can "rent" the track out for your own personal use. There is NO public access to the track at this time and it is only availible to the group who rented/booked the track. This is the $400 per 30 minutes option what we did not go with that i mentioned earlier this week. You couldn't use the coupons you have during this time if we did book it, that is why we cannot go with this option anymore, also it is too much effort and try and collect all the money and such and come up with a downpayment/deposit to be able to do it anyways. THis is what the group did to be able to have the track closed to us, and the public during the 12-2pm time slot on the 12th.
Then there are "reservations", which i am referring to in the previous post where you will be guarenteed track time if you do so, but there will also be other public that will be allowed to also race with the resereved people in a first come first serve basis. But again, this can all be worth nothing if there is a group that books the track from 2pm + before the 10th of september. I am hoping there will be no more groups booking the track on the 12th so we can have time to be able do some races...again there is no way for us to stop this from happening unless we booked it outselves and paid the $400 per 30 minute rates.
and as far as changing the meeting time at wally burger... it still might happen, but i have to figure out how much time it will take to drive from wally's to TBC and such. Maybe Sy Haw could pipe in here as he knows where wally burger is and how long it might take to drive from there to TBC. If it takes lets say 20-30 minutes to drive from wally burger i doubt everyone will want to sit at the burger joint for a hour and a half considering we can no longer start racing till 2pm anyways (tentitivly, could be even later if another group books).. I would rather start the lunch meet closer to 12:30 - 12:45 so then we are not sitting around doing nothing for a hour and a half or whatever...
let me know if it needs more clarification.
