I told her to surprise me, and she did!!! hehe, I think it's perfect (Love the texture, and it has the perfect amount of gloss... hehe!)
I feel special, my very own colour.

What do you guys think ?

NICE!!  top notch work again!

i always wondered tho that cuz the area where the oil cap seal sits has a textured PC on it... will there be issues with it sealing?

No, it doesn't interfere with the seal.  On this one, the opening has a smooth finish to it. I didn't texture it. I used to mask off this area on all valve covers as kinda a trademark that I did.

I think I did yours Brett with it masked off.

"Jolie Black Ebony"

and for anyone interested about $120 for powdercoating... not sure of shipping costs, but I highly recommend Sheela.

On another note, thanks to Tyle Saunders, as this is apparently his old VC. :)

Can't wait until I've got some extra $ to get mine done.

yeah on mine the part of it is masked off... with the slots missing on it for the metal clips to slide through...

im pretty sure the textured part is painted over where the seal would rest... (i think, not sure tho)

should i remove the powder coating from that area where the rubber seal sits? or just see if it seals up fine first?

It will seal, promise.  If it doesnt then it will be the only one out of many that I have done that didnt seal.
If you start grinding down the coating you will break the seal between the aluminum and the coating, this will cause you more problems than its worth.  I would have to strip it and re-coat if contaminants got under the coating.
