not a dsm but still kinda cool.

i sold my gto, so i needed to get somthing super kick ass. this works.





                                                                     ^^^^^^^^(not pistons)^^^^^^^^







it runs, but needs the muffler welded back on. should be super sick when i get it all togeather and cleaned up.

its a 78 corolla, and the motor runs. but with out the muffler its way past retardedly loud. and i live way to close to other people to real open it up. did have eny probles driving up my hill at 1500-200rpm, so i think its still a good runner.

im about 90% sure its a 12a, the kid i got it off didnt know too much about its history.



its also going to need a window befor i can take it too the track/autocross/rallycross/iceracing

I'd say 12a too, as not many would carb a 13b

I agree with John, that's a 12a (The carb + the oil cooler under the filter)

 Very cool car, I saw that on CL and I was damn tempted myself.

id be hitting up everything thats metal with a good layer(s) of tremclad ... datsuns are natorious for rusting.  neat car though.

it looks like the rear axle is pretty much toast, theres a crack in the housing, i patched it with jb weld for now.
anyone got ideas where i could find a lsd/posi rear end maybe even something with disc's.

AE86 style Corrola, or rwd Celica would be my best guesses.  Hell you are running Celica wheels already.

What John said. I believe the 86 diff is practically interchangeable with that generation Corolla (Was talking to a guy at autocross on the weekend about it).
Objects in mirrors appear to be losing.

umm in the daylight shots am i the only one that notices a nice looking 1ga in the driveway up the street??? whos is that lol? and yah what cam and john said i believe is correct, i used to work with the guy cam auto x's with, hes got a pretty nice old corolla hes redone, a very nice looking blue one.

thats mine too. almost road worthy. i just need to swap in a new steering column and change the clutch master cylinder. i got all the parts, i just need to stop playing with the rolla and do it.
