sneek picture of my engine

Thought id post up some pic's of the engine, waiting on a couple things before i drop it in. Beefed up transmission with evo parts is one of them  :P For anyone who does not know what I've been up too im building a 2.3L stroker engine.


With the new intake manifold I have i had to relocate the coil pack

13inch cobra brakes, sure hope it will stop my brake fade i had last year

just curious how much did does brake set u back ? i am gonna get soem new shoes on my girl and  after that new disc and pads .. so  just wondering ..

and by the way SICK looking  engine !

It was around $700 i bought everything new, if you can find a set at a wrecker you can save a couple bucks. If you are going with Cobra brakes on your car you have to get a bracket made up or buy one for the caliper to bolt up. I think the Cobra brakes are identical to the Bear brake kit just a different name on the caliper, and you save a bit with the Cobra brakes.

Way to go Chel.

That engine is lookin good.

I remembered last year we discussed a bit about Mustang brakes for our 2Gs.  I guess you opted on getting Cobra brakes ~  Damn ...makes me wanna get some ~ =P
