"superclean" or "Meguires Hot Rims wheel cleaner" (not the aluminum stuff) works pretty good on my white rims.

Just spray it on generously.. let it sit for a bit and spray off (with a pressure washer for best results)

I was VERY surprized how good that stuff works on brake dust.

yup, my colt GT uses OEM like pad material (semi metalic i believe)

I run EBC green stuff on my evo and i have white OZ's on it as well.  it worked just as good on that car.

Wheels are easy - Degreaser and a toothbrush for the tight areas. As long as you stay on top of it, you're golden. If you let it build for months then try and get it all off in one go.... good luck.

Glen -
You'll be looking for some sort of ceramic pad. They produce less dust, but more importantly, it's of a light color and thus much less visible.
Objects in mirrors appear to be losing.

Just go to Canadian Tire and ask for their ATE brake pads. They are probably the cheapest ceramic pads you will find in the Kootenays (even cheaper on sale), and they work great to boot. I have put them on Steele's Talon, and my cousins 328is, I have nothing but good things to say about them.

R34 was produced in 1999-2002 , so 2014 would be 15 years old for a 99 R34 to come into canada. 4 more years  :-\ gunna be a long wait  :(

Don't they have them in the states though? Technically (not legally) you could insure one in the states and bring it here. Say if you have a relative there? Use their address? Apply for a license there...I mean if you wanted one bad enough.

There is a long and sordid history of r34 skylines in the US involving the company motorex that was for a while making them legal (but apparently not really)

The short version of the story is they used to be allowed but they are now illegal and actively hunted down. (As are the 32 and 33)
They're like expensive pokemon... gotta catch 'em all.
