What bothers me is that my Wifes Geo storm ran a 16.2.... with HER driving it.... I should get her to bring it out and watch her annialiate me in my turbo colt.

oh and i just looked up the "STOCK" 1/4 mile times off the well known database here http://www.albeedigital.com/supercoupe/articles/0-60_Quarter_Mile_Times/M_0-60times.html


Anyways it rates the "1989 Mitsubishi Mirage Turbo" at a time of 16.2

Makes me feel better about my best time of 16.3.... taking into consideration the car is BONE stock and also has 350 000 km's on a never been rebuilt drivetrain.  Plus im running heavier then stock wheels/tires..

I doubt it too.  Carmens XR ran 16.8 bone bone bone stock.  And its alot faster than a Mk2 Jetta, I have driven many of them.
