2G cam angle sensor question (pic's added)

I have a question on if there is a a right way or wrong way to install the "camshaft position sensing cylinder" there is no timing marks on it, has two sections missing out of it and the are not the same size openings. I have Chilton online and all i can find is the torque spec. for the bolt but nothing on installing the sensing cylinder.

People who don't know what i have its a 99 2.0L 4g63 engine.

they are talking about a crank angle sensor there.

the CAS doesn't have any marks on it?

the 1g cas has a dot and a small line that have to line up.

Ive been looking everywhere trying to figure out witch way this goes, id like to install is the right way the first time as I'm going to be starting up my new engine, don't want to be fighting with problems on initial start up. here are some pictures hope someone can help me out.

1. make sure no.1 cylinder @ TDC position
2. if u look at the cam sensing blade has small and big gap. There's a white paint mark in between the big gap(check your third picture), that paint mark should be facing the cam sensor.
