So who all has a pair and is gonna run their bucket? I have no 2nd and if I Can pass tech with a cracked winshield I am in. Fingers crossed. The cops didn't say shit about it I hope their the same. Fingers crossed

You can pass with a crack in the windsheild.
You cant pass with spider cracks in it.

Since your hood will be up, they wont see anything during tech.

Didn't you get beaten by a civic?

Rob Armstrong and I were also witnesses ~ PWNED by a (turbo civic - probably running a T25 toO)  :D

Yeah I woosed out, but really wanted to observe today to see how it is.  Didn't prepare or have proper tools and spare tires.  Will probably bring my stocker wheels and tools next time to get revenge on the Civic for you  ~  :P

It was real fun today.  Great seeing everyone. Jason Harwood, Brett H, Rob Armstrong, Remi and his gf, Kris and his wife and DSM dog, Ryan Coft, both the Brake siblings, some of the Evolution guys (I think), and anyone that I missed.  Heard Ryan Singh showed up, didn't see him tho.

Its good to get outside of Vancouver sometimes.  People are a lot friendlier and less uptight looking.

The Evolution Ford Festiva is my hero car of the day ~  :D  Loved how fast it was till something happened and it went down on the tracks.

Got some pics and videos.  Post em up soon.

My car developed phantom issues.

It knocked and retarded timing at the top of 3rd, was fine in 1st 2nd and early 4th.
But you spend all your time in 3rd.

Just fell flat on its face over and over.

I filled up with a fresh tank on the way home and it started pulling better in 3rd, I think it was a bit of bad gas.

Well the Colt GT put down a best of 16.3 @ 81MPH.  8)   :'(

I then disconnected the downpipe and played with the boost and did some horrible 17 second and high 16 second rus after my first.  I got a best of 85 MPH with a fair bit of knock in 2nd gear....

It needs a intercooler.  Running it without one is just not going to cut it.  Either are one wheel burnouts either.  I launched with one sticky tire and one wet cold tire.... didn't work out so well.

Oh well theres always the Maroon Eagle Summit VAN 4g63t AWD, that shouldn't have traction issues! :P

Don't hate too much on Kyle, at least he is taking his car down the track. AND a low 14 is faster than alot of the people on here.  Plus he picked up a second and a half on his first nite, with no tuning.

Kyle, what was your 60' time on the 14.3 pass?  If it was any higher than a 1.70-1.80, I would strongly suggest taking the same car, same parts out and get it in the 13's before you add more parts.  When you make more power it gets harder to drive, not easier, plus it makes it easier to break stuff.
