ya it doesnt look fun, going to do it when i do the turbos, have to remove the engine to get at them 19.8 hours book time for re and re. when i did the down pipes and test pipes it was 6 hours lol should make it easier to pull the motor tho.

I had a horrible night too...I need to learn how to shift properly. 2-3 was missed horribly all night. My 60 ft. time was 1.9s. What times should I expect based on that? (I missed 1-2 and 2-3 and got 15.01)

Jason... you were there?  what DSM were you driving??  i remember seeing a purple 2G there with BCDSM stickers... and also a green one that has chop shop motorsports stickers on it as well.

1.9 is not horrible at all.  It can be better, but 1.8-1.9 is ok.  its when you get 2.1 2.3 that its bad.

that said, each 1/10th in the 60' is equal to 2/10th in the 1/4mile.  So its worth trying to get better.

Yan ran more 11's. He ran into some issues and he called it a early night.

Frank was there running 12's.
The Purple DSM was Daryl Dhaliwals buddy, he ran 17's. Apparently with DSM link and a big turbo you dont go too fast when its not tuned at all.
I saw Jason Pham.
There was another eclipse running 14's as well.

And yea, big turbo and no tuning is not gonna make it fast.  Poor guy, pretty dissapointing no doubt.  I remember when I put in my first set of big injectors, and didn't have either the time nor the real skill to make em work correctly.  I LOST a second and a half!!  Jack Lee started off in reverse and beat me and he only ran a high 13!!!

purple 2g was mine....yeah it was my first time running on the track and the damn thing's so hard to launch.  I figure it's the last of the season, might as well race and see what the car can do but pretty dissappointed with my first dsm. i need 2 get my car properly tuned though when i get some $$$$$

Paul, don't get too down, its not too hard to gain on what you had.  A few minor tweaks (depending on what you have) and a few more passes, and the car will gain 2 seconds pretty quick.

I let Frank drive my car for that last pass but he didn't know how to turn the head lights on so he was busted...didn't get the chance to test my car. The car had issues but its a little too late to fix. It run 12.6 @ 113.
