no need to compensate on a mass air equipped car.

Brett your theory has merit, but it didn't knock 3 hours earlier.  And 2 days earlier.

And a few weeks ago it held 25psi and didn't knock and ran 11's.

cool old turbo Charger.  Too bad.

Yea I have mixed feelings about going last nite too.  Saw some of the crew, hung out a bit.  But I ran shitty and missed a hell of a BC Lions game.

Well on the flip side I got a new personal best of 14.09 @ 98. The car has a 13 in it without question as that one was at only 10psi. Turned it up a bit for my second pass, and low and behold I missed my 3-4 shift and landed a 14.4 @ 95.

John it's a good thing you didn't make another pass. I made one of the last runs before they shut down and the track was absolute shit. I spun into second and wheel hopped all over the place. My 60 was something like 2.3, no grip at all.
They're like expensive pokemon... gotta catch 'em all.

I had a bad night.

1st run, 13.6 @ 103.9MPH.2.2 60 ft.
Last year, I went a 13.6 w/ a 1.8 60ft @ 98MPH!
So its evident if I get the 60's down I should be low low 13's if not a 12.9 :D

2nd run, I turned the stutter box on.
Launched 2.1 60 ft (I blame the helmet to be honest, I couldnt get a feel for anything with it in!)
Went into 2nd gear and the car rev limited at 4,500RPM (Where my sutterbox is set)
So I went into 3rd. and then rode it out the rest of the way.
14.0 @ 103mph.

Last run, took the helmet off.
1.9 60 foot! finally, something decent.
Then I couldnt get into 2nd gear... I had both hands on the thing trying to ram it in. It just wouldnt go.
14.5 @ 101mph. I probably spent a full 2 seconds trying to get it into gear.

Driving the car this morning, I have to pump the clutch a few times before it starts to shift into any gear eaily.
Looks like i need a new slave / master!

97' Eclipse GSX 13.6 @ 105MPH

97' Acura EL 14.5 @ 98MPH

Jason, your MPH is indeed good for a high 12.  12.5 was a 114mph.  12.9 was a 108

Remi, glad it got better for you.  Big big mph improvement.

oh crap, thats an expensive clutch job!

I have looked at 2 of these cars and I have decided I won't get one as a daily driver as that car has so many expensive parts.

A regular A4 2.8 30v 5spd Sport package, definately, but the clutch job on that thing is over 10hours plus the dual mass flywheel.
