I'd love to play contact football too, I think I would be pretty hard to bring down in an open field, but its a cost and also injury thing. I don't mind getting hurt, I do it all the time, and did martial arts alot of my life, but when you play a 3:00 game on sunday, and have to go to work on monday with a busted arm, its not much fun.
Plus this cost me a pair of cleats every 4 or 5 years, and thats it. Our team is sponsored by a pub so no league costs and they even gave us enough for new Jerseys and a couple of nice footballs a year or so ago. Hockey equipment or football equipment is gonna take money out of my Talons budget
